What Celestia is — and is not
Celestia provides astrology readings for personal interest, reflection, and entertainment. Astrology is not a science, and our readings are not factual predictions or professional advice of any kind.
- Readings are not a substitute for professional advice — medical, psychological, legal, financial, or otherwise. Do not make important decisions based on a reading. If you need help in any of these areas, please consult a qualified professional.
- We make no guarantee that any statement in a reading is accurate, applicable to you, or predictive of any outcome. Readings are interpretive and are generated with the help of an AI system.
- If you are in crisis or distress, a reading is not the right resource — please reach out to a doctor, a local emergency service, or a support line in your area.
Eligibility
Celestia is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to use the service or purchase a reading. By using Celestia you confirm you meet this requirement.
Readings, prices, and payment
- Your first focused reading is free, limited to one per browser.
- Additional focused readings and the full reading are available to purchase at the prices shown at checkout (currently £2 for an additional focus and £4 for a full reading). Prices are in pounds sterling and may change; the price shown at the time of purchase applies.
- Payment is processed securely by Stripe. By paying, you authorise the charge shown at checkout.
- Valid promotional codes may be redeemed where offered, subject to any limits stated.
Delivery
A purchased reading is generated and shown to you immediately after payment is confirmed, and can be downloaded as a PDF or, if you choose, emailed to you. If something goes wrong and your paid reading does not appear, contact us and we will put it right.
Refunds and your cancellation rights
A reading is a digital product delivered immediately. By purchasing and accessing your reading straight away, you ask us to begin delivery at once and you acknowledge that your statutory right to cancel digital content ends once delivery has begun. This is consistent with UK consumer law for digital content supplied immediately with your consent.
That said, we want you to be treated fairly. If your reading failed to generate, was not delivered, or was charged in error, contact us at starwritten.celestia@gmail.com and we will provide a re-delivery or a refund as appropriate. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
Acceptable use
- Use the service only for lawful, personal purposes.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, attack, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
- Do not submit other people's personal details without their permission, and do not submit unlawful, abusive, or infringing content.
- Do not resell or commercially redistribute readings without our permission.
Feedback you submit
If you choose to share feedback about your experience, you grant us permission to display it (using a first name and city, or anonymously), with light edits for length or clarity that do not change its meaning. Nothing you submit is published automatically; we review submissions first. You can ask us to remove your feedback at any time. Do not submit feedback that is untrue, that is not your own, or that contains others' personal information.
Intellectual property
The Celestia name, site design, and the text and structure of the service are ours. The reading we generate for you is yours to keep and use for your own personal purposes. You may not present our service or readings as your own product or service.
Availability
We aim to keep Celestia available and working, but we provide it "as is" and cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Celestia is not liable for any decision you make based on a reading, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the reading in question.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and forms part of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections you have where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
