Celestia ("we", "us") provides personalised astrology readings online. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Birth details you enter — your name, date, time, and place of birth. These are used solely to generate your reading.
- Payment information — when you buy a reading, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details; Stripe handles them directly.
- Technical information — a record of your device's network address, used to provide one free reading per visitor and to keep the service secure.
How your information is used
We use the details you provide only to create your reading and deliver it to you. To do this, your details are sent to the service that generates the reading text (Anthropic), and your payment is handled by Stripe. The site is hosted by Vercel. These providers process data on our behalf.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your birth details for advertising. We do not share your information with anyone except the providers needed to run the service, as described above.
How long we keep it
Technical records used for the free-reading limit are kept for a limited period and then removed automatically. Payment records are retained by Stripe according to their own policies and applicable law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
International users
Celestia is available worldwide. By using the service, you understand that your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including by the providers named above.
Children
Celestia is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age required by law in their country.
